Full College Membership
Full membership is open to all those who are registered and are on Part 13 of the Health Professions Council register. If you are registered please put your HPC registration number on the application form.
Association membership is a person, not eligible for full membership, who expresses an interest in the Association and wishes to receive the Journal and other College literature. Association members are entitled to take part in College meetings but have no voting rights. Association membership does not imply that an individual is qualified or competent to practice as an ODP.
Education establishments are required to register all student ODPs with the College of Operating Department Practitioners on commencement of the programme. To become a student member you will need to complete the application form indicating which institute programme you are attending and your start and completion date. Student members have full voting rights.
The CODP is constantly seeking benefits and facilities for members. To do this it may be necessary for the CODP to send advertising materials through the post. If you do not wish to receive please inform us by email stating your membership number.
Statistical information is gathered on the roles and location of current practitioners, which will enable us to inform development and services, please indicate where you are mainly employed and the role you spend most time in. Specialist roles are for the recording of those who are performing any new roles, having undertaken additional training and assessment or qualification.
